Wednesday Wonder!

Announcement - In an effort to encourage people across the nation and  beyond to eat more raw vegetables, www.nutritrue.net is offering a few tasty and simply affordable  solutions - so that raw vegetables can  become a staple food in your daily diet!

Scenario 1 - Raw vegetables are too expensive.
Scenario 2 - There's lots of waste with raw vegetables.
Scenario 3 - I don't like the taste of raw vegetables.
Scenario 4 - A House Salad is boring (ice burg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots).

Solution 1 - When buying raw salad mix it's important to look at the expiration date and the bottom & sides of the packaging.  If the lettuce is wilting or discolored this is not a smart purchase for (quality or savings)!
Solution 2 - Clean your fresh produce with spray & rinse natural cleanser.
Solution 3 - A tasty & healthier version of a typical House Salad is: choose dark green lettuce, kale, or spinach.  Add cucumber slices, tomatoes, and 1/4 of an avocado.
Solution 4 - Wrap the unused avocado in plastic and refrigerate to (prevent waste).
Solution 5 - Instead of toxic commercial salad dressings try Bragg Amino & fresh squeezed lemons.
Solution 6 - To enhance the flavor even more, add Himalayan salt & ground pepper to taste!
