acid imbalance, inflammation, toxicity, or all of the above!
This article will briefly discuss acid and inflammation. Regarding bodily acids, balance is an extreme necessity. A slight shift in one’s pH can cause significant disturbances in bodily health.
What is pH? It’s a measure of hydrogen ions in a solution - simply put; think of your body as a bag of solution since it contains large amounts of liquids such as water and blood. Some common methods used to measure bodily pH are urine, saliva, or blood test which may be the most accurate. There are however relatively inexpensive and simple methods for completing a pH test at home which can give a general idea of how someone is doing in this area.
What is inflammation? Inflammation is the body's response to tissue injury.
Various actions can trigger this response such a stress, trauma, intense heat, toxic chemicals, and infections just to name a few things. Pro-inflammatory foods may also cause tissue injury (inflammation) and an overly acidic body (acidosis).
What are Pro-inflammatory foods? Pro-inflammatory (acidic) foods are usually those consisting of artificial ingredients, trans-fats, MSG, and refined sugar also known as the "SAD Diet" Standard American Diet!
In order to improve your health by decreasing inflammation and balancing bodily acid (pH), consuming an (80/20 alkaline/acid) may prove to be ideal. The following diseases and others not listed have been linked to acid imbalance inflammation, and/or toxicity: Arthritis, Cancer, Diabetes, Digestive Disorders, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Obesity, Strokes, Psychological Disorders, Etc.

There is also an all natural anti-inflammatory enzyme extracted from a silkworm called Serrapeptase.
This product has been used in some Asian & European countries for approximately 40 years or more yet remains relatively unknown in North America. It has been used to assist in treating a wide variety of inflammatory diseases and thus may be helpful in the prevention and treatment of such.
A simple way to dose Serrapeptase is to take 1 or 2 capsules daily fasting in the morning and wait 30 minutes or more before eating breakfast or drinking anything other than pure water. In cases where bodily acidity persist, a person may wish to incorporate a high quality Buffer pH supplement into their daily regimen.
